OREO

Oreo showed up as homeless kitty and was being fed by several neighbors when she was found unable to walk on her back leg. The kind lady could not leave her injured and out in the cold so she took her into her bathroom and contacted us. She loves everyone and is so thankful to be rescued! Oreo is now part of the PetPromise program and will soon be looking for her own forever home. Please WELCOME Oreo!

PICKLES

Pickles came out from under a large truck at the Dick's loading dock on a cold January morning. He was bleeding badly, blood was everywhere, but he was walking up to the workers rubbing on them like nothing was wrong. But there was...his tail was gone. Sliced off at the base so there was nothing left. The employees took him to a vet but couldn't afford the care he needed. He is sweet as pie. Welcome to PetPromsie Pickles!

Help Us Open the PetPromise Pet City Lounge & Adoption Center!

We are so excited to share our plans and timing for the PetPromise Pet City Lounge: A revolutionary concept for sheltering and caring for rescued homeless pets in Columbus, Ohio.

The PetPromise Pet City Lounge will be a first of its kind cageless home-like sanctuary for dogs and cats where people from the community can come in, enjoy coffee, tea, or sodas, unwind, socialize, and relax while in the company of rescued cats and dogs. Our goal is to create a home-like environment where homeless pets can live comfortably, meet friends and future adopters, and genuinely enjoy their lives while they wait to be adopted.

But we really need you to be part of our team and to help us make the PetPromise Pet City Lounge a reality in 2025.

We are seeking monetary donations of any size to purchase the building this year. We have identified the property; we just need the funding to make it a reality. Our goal is to secure funding to purchase the site and building we have found and to build it out and furnish it so that we can open our doors and welcome the public in to help us save the lives of hundreds of homeless pets in 2025 and thousands in the years to come! Please share with your employer, your friends, your family, your neighbors, businesses you frequent… no donation is too small! They are out there waiting for us and with your help, we can do this!

On February 4, 2000, PetPromise was officially incorporated (although its members and volunteers had been saving the lives of homeless and abused pets for years before. It has been 25 Years of Promises kept. Promises to rescue, protect, and help them no matter what. Promises to defend them and respect their lives and to change the world through our work. Because their lives matter.
