Felix is the most outgoing friendliest and curious little kitten of his litter. Despite everything he has been through in his short little life, he is happy and sweet. He was found outside with his mother and his three sisters and his brother outside trying to stay warm. The little family was just trying to stay alive outside in the cold when they were discovered by their rescuer and brought inside.

Felix is a happy playful and loving little boy. He has the cutest little tuxedo markings and his big ears make you smile when you see him!

He is a sweet little guy who loves other cats, people and even dogs (that are gentle). He loves to be petted and held. He is going to make someone a very special best friend. Everyone who meets him loves him. If you would like to make Felix part of your family, please complete an Adoption Application.

Flynn was found sitting by himself on Sawmill Rd. in front of the deserted Iaconno’s restaurant. He was just a kitten sitting out on the front of the empty restaurant entryway.

We saw him and went back to get him. He is @ 9 months old now and is a beautiful little boy. He loves other cats and loves to be petted! He LOVES to play with toys and has the loudest purr when you pet him…but he is still afraid when he is picked up. He adores other cars and gets along with every cat he meets. He is so sweet….hr just needs to learn to trust people when he is picked up.

He has been living in a cage waiting for a foster home or a forever home to choose him. He wants to be out and exploring not locked in a cage waiting.

Sweet Noah has had a horrible horrible life and he is the sweetest boy. He once must have had a loving indoor home because he sat at the windows of homes in the small town outside Dayton…longingly looking in and begging with little paws on the windows to be let in.

The residents in the town put food out for him but there were many outdoor kitties in the area…so many thought he had a home somewhere. Then one day two unleashed large dogs rushed into the yard where Noah was sitting and broke into the fenced area where he ran for cover. A neighbor came out screaming when she saw the two dogs viscously attacking Noah and she rushed to his rescue.

Noah was barely alive when he was rushed to the vet. He almost lost an eye and went through a long recovery period where even the vet wasn’t sure he would make it. But the sweet strong loving boy lifted his little head one day and head bumped the neighbor that rescued him when she visited and they all knew he was fighting hard to stay alive.

He recovered…and during his recovery it was discovered that he had FIV (which is the cat version of human AIDs.). While cats with FIV can live long healthy lives, it is an immuno deficiency disease that means that viruses that other cats can quickly overcome can be deadly to him. And while FIV is not easy to pass to other cats (it requires a bite wound to transfer to another cat) being around healthy cats that carry even minor viruses or being in a home where there is a lot of change or stress can cause the FIV to become full blown FIV.

So poor Noah…just when it looked like he may finally have a good future ahead has been served another round of bad luck. Who would ever adopt him knowing that he will need to be in a nice calm home without a lot of stress, without a lot of other cats, in a home where he will need to see the vet for blood tests at least once a year to make sure everything is okay inside. Now Noah has to be labeled as a special needs cat …and that means that he will most likely be overlooked when people are picking out a kitty to adopt.

Noah deserves more than this for the rest of his life. Could you give this sweet boy…a boy who loves everyone but who has had a horrible life so far…a home where he can be lived and protected? If you can give him a chance to have happiness for the rest of his sweet life, please complete an Adoption Application.

Percy is 2-3 year old GORGEOUS and SWEET Abyssinian mix. He is TALL and LEAN and has the beautiful Abyssinian coloring and almond eyes. He has the personality to match. He is the friendliest and smartest sweet boy in the world. He is gentle, calm, and loves every person he meets. He is confident and loving and does well with other cats and is happy with whatever attention he can get. He is living in a cage in his foster home…and so grateful. He never cries or begs to get out. He just reaches through the bars to grab the fosters as they go by.

You see, Percy’s owners dumped him (and his friend Pippa outside at the apartment where they lived in single digit temperatures in January when they moved away. He stayed outside the sliding glass doors to “his” home for over a week waiting for his owners to let him in. The neighbors put food out for him and Pippa and when they found out that the owners had left for good, they called us. And there he was, still waiting for his “people.” Percy is the gentlest cat you will ever meet. He has some hair loss on his back/neck and tail where he has been grooming himself excessively (this can be caused by stress so we are hoping that a safe warm home will help him get better and allow his hair to grow back.) Regardless he is a beauty and he is so smart and friendly. If you meet him you will love him.

Sweet River is a gentle and shy boy who was living in a neighborhood, hiding and eating the scraps of food he could find.

After years of long outdoors, he was finally trapped….and he finally had the chance to live safe inside. Unfortunately, when he was trapped we found out he was FIV+ and we were so sad. But it isn’t a death sentence. FIV+ cats can live normal lifespans if given the right care and if living in a low stress environment.

This wl sweet little girl was just a bitty baby ( just a 5 month old kitten) when she was abandoned by her family and was left outside to fend for herself. She was pregnant (just a baby herself) and had to find an old box to shelter her babies when they were born in December. The poor little girl was just a baby….she was barely bigger than the kittens she gave birth to and she had to care for herself and 5 kittens.

Since being found she is so grateful. She is very sweet but can be afraid at first. But with a little time to understand that she is safe….this little girl loves people and is gentle and sweet. She is petite and beautiful with a Bombay build and beautiful face.

This little kitten (a mom of kittens) only hopes for the day when she will get to be a kitten herself and have someone to take care of her and love her for the rest of her life.

Fritz is the cutest little boy kitten you will ever find. He is a big boy for a kitten his age so we expect him to become a big boy when he grows up! He was found outside with his mother and his three sisters and his brother outside trying to stay warm. The little family was just trying to stay alive outside in the cold when they were discovered by their rescuer and brought inside.

Fritz is a cuddler. He is quiet and gentle and has the most gorgeous shiny black coat we have seen.

He is a sweet little guy who loves other cats, people and even dogs (that are gentle). He loves to be stroked and petted. He will be an amazing little boy for someone to love forever….snd he will be so grateful to have a home of his own where he can know safety and love fur the rest of his life.

Tina is a darling little dark tortoiseshell kitten who was found outside with her mother and her two sisters and two brothers outside trying to stay warm. The little family was just trying to stay alive outside in the cold when they were discovered by their rescuer and brought inside.

Tina has beautiful dark tortie markings with hints of orange and one completely perfect orange paw. It looks like she is wearing a little orange sock on her right front foot!

Tina is a very quiet and sweet little kitten. She is gentle and will sit in your lap quietly…never asking gif anything more than a little love from someone. She enjoys being with people, with other cats and even dogs (if they are gentle with her). If you want a little girl that is so thankful to be yours, please make little Tina part of your family.

Sweet little Tilly is a beautiful little tortoiseshell kitten who was found outside with her mother and her two sisters and two brothers outside trying to stay warm. The little family was just trying to stay alive outside in the cold when they were discovered by their rescuer and brought inside.

Tilly is so sweet and gentle. She is quiet and does great with other cats and dogs, too. She has beautiful tortie markings and the sweetest little face you’ve ever seen. If you are looking for a sweet gentle little girl who is so grateful to be inside and safe a home, Tilly would be the perfect little kitten for you.

7 UP is a LOVELY girl who is so people focused, she wants to be with you always. 7 Up was bottle fed as a tiny kitten and is super attached to people. Bottle babies are called “velcro cats” for a reason – they love to be touching you!

7 UP has a medical condition where she MUST eat a special food or else she will develop bladder stones. PetPromise got her the veterinary care to remove the stones from her bladder but it is VITAL that 7 Up stay on Hills CD stress dry food and wet food. As long as she is fed the correct wet/dry food, 7 UP should not have a major event but any adopter needs to understand her dietary needs. Currently, her food costs are about $75/mo. Any adopter will need to keep on top of her litter box habits. Currently, 7 Up has no bladder issues as the surgery to remove the bladder stones was successful.

Please do not overlook 7 UP for her medical issues. She is the sweetest, most loving, interactive cat and deserves a great home!

7-up loves to be around other humans and loves to snuggle (when she wants something). She also loves to play with toys and be very active, especially the ones with feathers. She also loves to talk to you and meow when she wants something.

Mango is an outgoing, affectionate boy who was found wandering a smoothie cafe’s parking lot looking very skinny and sick. He showed no hesitation to be rescued. In fact, he jumped right into an open car door and laid down on a stranger’s lap! Once taken to the vet, it turned out Mango had a mouth full of bad teeth that all needed to be pulled. (He promises this wasn’t a ploy to ensure he could enjoy delicious canned wet food the rest of his life.)

Speaking of open doors…despite knowing how great indoor life is, old habits die hard, and Mango has a tendency to casually waltz outside and briefly take a gander around when a door is opened. He probably lived outside for quite some time in his life; however, his perfect litter box habits and friendliness indicate he was likely was an indoor kitty for a good part of his life.

His foster mom says she’s never seen a sweeter boy. Mango pretty much lives for love and affection, and eagerly escorts household members to their bed, the kitchen, the dinner table, the couch, etc. It’s worth noting that Mango is a very brave boy. He has never met a stranger and adores people. He is completely unbothered by vacuums, sudden/loud noises, other cats, small humans, and new visitors. Mango is estimated to be around 5-6 years old and is a huge fan of scratcher boards and chasing furry mice toys.

He hasn’t been exposed to dogs in his foster mom’s house, but we think he’d be just fine if his new home has canine family members.

Mango is a very healthy boy despite his FIV positive status. When he was found, Mango’s mouth was a MESS and PetPromise did the hard work of getting his mouth healed up thru several surgeries, antibiotics and laser treatment. In fact, Mango has no teeth but that doesn’t stop him in the slightest. Mango has now been cleared by the vet for adoption! The only outward indication that Mango is FIV+ is that he sneezes occasionally. The best treatment that we have found for this is daily lysine supplement in his food and that appears to keep the sneezing at bay.

Mango, while FIV+, is a VERY EASY special needs kitty. All he needs to stay in tip top shape are these things: indoor only home, vet visits at least 2X a year and more if he has a cold, daily lysine powder in his food. That’s it! The powder is cheap and can be ordered from Amazon or Chewy. While vet expenses cannot be fully anticipated, Mango does not require any special food or anything super costly to keep him healthy at this time. FIV+ cats can live long, healthy, fulfilling lives when given proper care and new science indicates that FIV+ and FIV neg cats can live together. As long as the cats are neutered and no fighting is happening, the new science suggests that the chance of transmission is relatively low.

Darwin’s foster parents found him in a friend’s backyard, covered in fleas and with marks all over his body from the rough street cat life. Darwin agreed to a much-needed bath and was introduced to all the perks of indoor cat life. He went from street cat to a cat tree-loving, friskee-eating, cuddle-wanting cutie pie in 15 minutes flat. Darwin loves lying by the window and looking out into the backyard from a place of safety, no longer worried about being attacked. He loves to give his foster parents head bumps, and greets them with the cutest gravelly meow, especially around meal times. As food-motivated as Darwin may be, he will take a break mid-meal to give you his attention if he feels he hasn’t seen you enough that day.

Today, Darwin has his fur grown back in, and his bright little eyes are feeling safe and happy and ready to take in his new family!

Darwin is good with calm dogs and cats, but is still learning not to get too feisty when it comes to cats that want to play with him. He’d do well in a home with calm animals that are indifferent to newcomers, or animals that will not try to play with him too much. This might change as Darwin relaxes his flight-or-fight instincts around other furry creatures. Darwin loves his people! He is a big tomcat cuddlebug and would love to receive your scritches and kisses.

While outside and unneutered, Darwin contracted FIV, which can be managed and he can have a long life despite his FIV+ status. Darwin does have some nasal discharge that happens occasionally. The best treatment that we have found for this is daily lysine supplement in his food and that appears to keep the sneezing at bay.

Carrie is a young lady interested in being social – as long as it’s on her own terms. Her favorite place to hang is on the window perch. She enjoys the company of other cats and dogs and would be a great addition to any family.

Fred is a very shy guy. He is more of a super chill roommate and enjoys having his personal space respected. He will take some time to warm up to you, but once he is comfortable with you, he will allow you to pet him and even welcome it. He loves his head being petted, his butt getting scratches, and his super soft belly rubbed. He chirps, trills and meows when he needs something, but otherwise he loves just laying in a cat tree looking out the window, or finding a little hiding spot to hang out in. He loves playing and wrestling our other cats and even rubs up on our 50lb dog. Fred would do well in a home with a chill vibe, and male human to live with as he seems to feel more comfortable around men. Fred is a very special guy that once he shows you his personality, you’ll fall in love.
